    Letras

    1. 1. The Mojo is back in town (Mugarte)- Instrumental

    2. It coudn’t be that hard (Bueno/Mugarte)

When I left my home, my father said:
“Be careful son! Don’t stay, be glad!”
    Now, He is so far,
    It couldn`t be that hard

When I began to play, I wanted to be an ace
Travel around the world! Know some beautiful place
    But all stayed behind
    It couldn`t be that hard

When I got in town, many kinds of thrills
Workin’ from sun to sun, ‘till I ache my bones
    That ain’t enough
    It couldn`t be that hard

When I loved someone, I lost my head
because the love! always make me mad
But I finished in a bar
    It couldn`t be that hard

    3. Man of many words (B. Guy - adap.Bueno/Mugarte)

I don’t care what nobody say
    I’m a man of a many words
I can speak things to you darlin’ I do
I can swear that you never heard
I rap strong and I know it right along
Come on mama let me turn you on

When I grab my game and call your name
You would never be the same
In the midnight hours when you dream my darling
I swear you will call my name
I rap strong when I know it right along
Come on mama let me turn you on

I was hauled off to jail late last night
With no one to go my bail
I rapped strong to the judge early this morning
And the judge put the cops in jail
I rap strong and I know it right along
Come on mama let me turn you on

I don’t care what nobody say
    I’m a man of a many words
I can speak things to you darlin’ I do
I can swear that you never heard
I rap strong and I know it right along
Come on mama let me turn you on

    4. Soothed soul (Rodriguez)

    Sometimes I felt
    That was not forever
    And it soothed my soul

    But now i know
    We’ll not be together
I saw in your green eyes: “anymore”

    I took all the chances
    That a woman could concede
To a Blues (blues) man like me

    2x
    You left me alone
And I’m walking to the hell
Please someone, save a seat for me
To drink with my poor soul

    5. Do it by yourself (Bueno/Mugarte)

Sweet little baby, please tell me where I did wrong
Sweet little baby, please tell me where I did wrong
Things you said to me, things you used to be
I must move on, I can’t hold out much longer

Life is a gamble, life is a funny game we play
Life is a gamble, life is a funny game we play
I can’t go on, so hard to be alone
This is my fate, I’ll keep on singing’ the blues, yeah

We had our good times, honey that’s one thing you can’t deny
We had our good times, honey that’s one thing you can’t deny
There ain’t no cryin’, there ain’t no lyin’
Life’s too short, you gotta do it by yourself, yeah

    6. Miss you blues (Bueno/Mugarte/Vitorino)

    2x
When my love was so confused
My mind told me to let you go

But when I saw you last sunday, baby
I finally realize that I love you so

    2x
I didn’t know what I was doing, baby
I just wanted to feed my need to be free

    I didn’t want anything now,
But a whiskey bar and a blues band right next to me

    2x
    And now baby,
I don’t care about my foolish pride

I’m here beggin’ on my knees, baby
Just to come with me and get another ride

    7. Let me love you baby (W. Dixon - adap.Bueno/Mugarte)

Woo wee baby I declare you sure look fine
Woo wee baby I declare you sure look fine
A girl like you has made a many man change his mind

Baby when you walk you know you shake like a willow tree
Baby when you walk you know you shake like a willow tree
A girl like you would just love to make a fool of me

    Let me love you baby
    Let me love you baby
Let me love you little darlin’
    Let me love you baby
Let me love you darlin’ ’til your good love drives me crazy

    Let me love you baby
    Let me love you baby
Let me love you little darlin’
    Let me love you baby
Let me love you darlin’ ’til your good love drives me crazy

    8. Standin’ ’round and crying (M. Morganfield - adap.Bueno/Mugarte)

Oh baby, look how you got me standin’ ’round crying.
Oh baby, look how you got me standin’ ’round crying.
Lord I love you little girl, you’re always resting on my mind.

Oh baby, I ain’t gonna be riding you ’round in my automobile.
Oh baby, I ain’t gonna be riding you ’round in my automobile.
You got so many men, I’m afraid you may get me killed.

Oh baby, you ain’t nothing like you used to be
Oh baby, you ain’t nothing like you used to be
When I was deep in love with you, little girl,
you were just sweet as an apple on a tree.

    9. All that matters (Bueno/Mugarte)

Heard ‘bout your woman left you
(You) Said you’ve lost your money too
Now you’re broke, ain’t got no love
The Blues is all there’s left for you

The Blues is all that matters,
The Blues is gonna take you
(you know) The Blues is all that matters,
(I say) The Blues is gonna take you

You take a shot of good ol’ bourbon
Drown yourself on wine and gim
Get so dizzy, a sloppy drunk
The Blues is all there’s left for you

    Refrao

(there’s) Nothing more that you can do
(there’s) Nothing more that you can say
So come on over, and sing out loud
That’s what the Blues is all about

    Refrao

    10. Ten years passed away (Bueno/Mugarte)

It’s been ten years ago today, when I first met the Blues
An old forgotten record, thought I could give it some use
When I realized that it will be forever by my side
Just start to listen… and Freddie said “I Wonder Why”

Ten years passed away, many things I have seen
Lots of people I have known, many places I have been
Some times I feel bad, other ones I feel so fine
Doesn’t matter how I am… Still remains the first blues of mine

Wolf runs through the “Highway 49”
Buddy cries “My Baby She Left Me”
    Otis felt so Bad
And Luther asks “Please Send Me Someone To Love”

Ten years passed away, many things I have seen
Lots of people I have known, many places I have been
Some times I feel bad, other ones I feel so fine
    Doesn’t matter how I am…
Still remains the first blues of mine
